The Splice Method.
Your two strands belong together.
A bespoke 3-month mentorship for professionals carrying two identities: the career that's visible and the passion that isn't. Whether you're fusing them, returning to one, or finally giving it room to grow — this is the structure to make it real.
Everyone has two strands. Most people only show one.
One strand is the thing people know you for. Your title. Your LinkedIn headline. The career you've built and the expertise you're recognized for.
The other strand is the thing that lives underneath. A creative practice you stopped making time for. A passion that feels too personal to share professionally. A skill set you've never figured out how to position. Maybe it's music, writing, visual art, community work, a side discipline that doesn't fit the narrative you've been telling.
The visible strand
The career. The title. The expertise people hire you for.
Data science. Law. Business affairs. Engineering. Marketing. Finance.
The hidden strand
The passion. The practice. The identity you've been sitting on.
Music production. Writing. Visual art. Nonprofit work. A creative discipline you walked away from — or never fully started.
The Splice Method isn't about choosing between them. It's about building the bridge: fusing them into one positioning, strengthening the strand you've neglected, or finally returning to something you left behind.
The goal isn't balance. It's integration — or permission.
Three months. Three modules. Designed around you.
Every Splice Method engagement is bespoke. Your intake assessment shapes the entire program — the exercises, the strategy, and the roadmap are built for your specific strands, your medium, and your life. This is not a course. There is no generic curriculum.
The Splice — Identity & Vision
Who are you when both strands are visible? We'll excavate the identity you've been sitting on through daily capture practices, guided reflection, and an honest conversation about what "returning" or "beginning" actually looks like for you. This month is about clarity — not output.
The Canvas — Tools & Infrastructure
Context for your specific medium or domain. Workflow setup. Rights and licensing fundamentals. We'll build the infrastructure that makes your practice sustainable — not a side project you abandon in six weeks. I bring 13+ years of business affairs experience to the parts most mentors skip entirely.
The Rehearsal — Output & Visibility
Create real work. Identify your audience. Decide how visible you want to be and on what terms — your full name, a persona, or something in between. We'll design a release and visibility strategy that fits your life as it actually is.
Bespoke mentorship. Not a template.
3 Strategy Sessions
One 60-minute 1:1 call per month. Designed around where you are, not a pre-set agenda.
Custom Monthly Modules
Exercises, prompts, and frameworks tailored to your medium, your career context, and your goals.
Async Support
Email and chat access between sessions for feedback, questions, and accountability.
Splice Method Blueprint
A personalized intake assessment that maps the intersection of your two strands before we begin.
Rights & Licensing Primer
A mini-lesson on protecting your work — copyright, contracts, AI tools, and platform terms relevant to your domain.
90-Day Forward Roadmap
A concrete plan we co-create together. Designed for people with day jobs, real constraints, and limited hours.
I kept my two strands separate for over a decade.
By day, I managed business affairs at agencies like Droga5 and tech companies like Meta and Uber — negotiating talent contracts, vetting AI tools, building compliance infrastructure. By night, I was an electronic music producer making beats in a home studio nobody at work knew about.
I built a wall between my two identities. My music became a secret. If you discovered it, you found the real me.
The irony is that I always knew my creativity was my superpower. It gave me an empathetic, ground-level understanding of the creative process. It was the "why" behind my work — though it was a "why" I mostly kept hidden.
Eventually the wall came down. Not because I planned it, but because generative AI made the two strands inseparable. Creativity and compliance stopped being different departments. They became one discipline. The fusion wasn't a compromise. It was the whole point.
The Splice Method is what I wish I'd had: someone who understood both strands, who could see the intersection as an asset instead of a contradiction, and who could help me build the bridge between the person I was at work and the person I was everywhere else.
This is for you if:
- You have a creative practice, a passion, or a skill that your professional network doesn't know about — and you're tired of keeping it hidden
- You walked away from something years ago and want a structured path back to it
- You work in tech, law, finance, or another field that treats your other strand as a hobby rather than a strategic asset
- You want to create and release work but don't know where to start with the infrastructure: tools, rights, platforms, audience
- You've been waiting for "the right time" to integrate these identities — and the right time keeps not arriving
- You want someone who's lived the dual-identity experience and understands the professional, legal, and creative sides of making it work
Before you decide.
That's fine. Some clients come in knowing exactly what they want to revive or build. Others have a feeling — a pull toward something creative or unconventional — but haven't named it yet. Month 1 is designed to surface and articulate it. You don't need to have it figured out before we start.
This is built for people with full-time jobs and real constraints. Expect 2–4 hours per month for exercises, reflection, and building. The modules flex around your schedule — not the other way around.
It's mentorship — a blend of strategic guidance, creative direction, and practical business knowledge. I'm not a therapist or a life coach. I'm someone who's navigated the exact tension you're feeling, and I bring 13+ years of professional experience across business affairs, creative production, and rights management to help you build something real.
Yes. Payment plans are available — typically split across the three months. We'll work that out during the initial conversation.
You leave with a 90-day forward roadmap, a completed piece of work, and the infrastructure to keep going independently. Some clients continue with occasional check-in sessions. Others don't need to — and that's the goal.
